My name is Mantasha Abbasi. I am a 4th year B.Sc. Nursing student at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Nursing, Bareilly. Nursing is not just my course, it is my dream to serve the sick, help the needy, and care for those who are suffering. I want to become a nurse who brings comfort and hope to patients and their families.

Today, I am standing at a very difficult point in my life.

My total college fees for this academic year is ₹98,000. We were only able to pay ₹3,000. The remaining ₹95,000 is still pending. If I am unable to pay this amount, I may not be allowed to continue my studies.

My father is the only earning member of our family. He works as a compounder in a private hospital in Sahaswan, Budaun (Uttar Pradesh). His annual income is only around ₹1,00,000. It is very hard for him to manage household expenses, my education, and his medical treatment.

In 2021, we lost my beloved mother. She passed away on 22nd February 2021. After her death, our home has never been the same. My father is now suffering from diabetes (sugar) and heart problems. Despite his illness, he continues to work every day so that I can complete my education.

I have reached my final year after years of hard work and struggle. I do not want to leave my course when I am so close to becoming a nurse. With your support, I can complete my studies and InshaAllah serve the community with dedication and honesty.
