Baby Aiza Fatima
is just 8 months old & was diagnosed with a condition called Biliary Atresia, in which the ducts from the liver get blocked & are unable to carry bile from the liver to the gallbladder. She was operated on in June 2022 (Kasai Procedure).

However, 6 months later she developed another complication of the liver called Neonatal Sclerosing Cholangitis, which is a very rare autoimmune disease of the liver.

The only option for survival with a new lease of life is Liver Transplant. In this case, the mother is donating the liver, the damaged liver of the baby will be replaced by the healthy liver of the mother.

The Liver transplant will be done at Rainbow Children’s Hospital & will cost Rs 18 lacs. The family has raised Rs 11 lacs through a crowdfunding portal & borrowed another 2 lacs from internal sources. They are short by Rs 5 lacs.

The father of Baby Aiza drives a bus for a Pvt school & earns Rs 15k/month. The Baby presently has swelling all over her body with elevated liver enzymes that can potentially damage her brain. An early surgery will give a new lease on life to her. We appeal to our faithful brothers & sisters for their wholehearted support in the cause of Allah SWT.
