Assalamu Alaikum, friends and well-wishers.
On May 18, 2025, 28-year-old Shahzad Shaikh, a daily wage laborer, performed an extraordinary act of courage. When an 8-year-old girl fell into a dangerous drain, Shahzad jumped in to save her, stating "Wo meri beti hoti to kya me khade rehta " as told by her wife. He successfully handed the girl to safety, but tragically drowned in the process. His selfless act went viral, earning sympathy and the title of real-life hero, yet his family has received no compensation or aid.
Shahzaad was the sole breadwinner for his wife and four young children. His sudden loss has left them in dire financial straits, with no means to sustain their daily needs or secure the children's future. This crisis demands our immediate attention and support.
How you can help :
The Prophet ( PBUH ) said, " Whoever would love ALLAH to shade him with his shade, let him help someone in hadrship or waive a loan" ( Majah ). By contributing even a small amount, you can help Shazad's family regain stability and give his children a chance at a better future.
