Assalam Alaikum,
I am Meher Fatima (37 years old, widow and household) from Hyderabad, India who has been suffering for several years from lower back and spine problems. My husband passed away in the year 2021 due to sudden cardiac arrest and before his death, he was unemployed for several years as our leased mutton shop was demolished in road widening work in Secunderabad. He is survived by three children (two boys and one girl). The eldest girl and eldest son have completed recently intermediate and trying to gain admission in a suitable paramedical course in Hyderabad. My youngest son is a metric student studying near our residence in Secunderabad.
Due to my spine issue and continuous unbearable pain, I am unable to work and support my children. I am suffering from L4-L5 lytic Listhesis and Stenosis and the discs have moved forward critically the doctors are recommending this surgery as the only option for me. I try to take care of household work but we do not have any source of income whatsoever. My eldest son has recently started working in a pharmacy shop in Secunderabad in evening hours. I am trying my best to give my children a good education and Islamic teachings but to keep going I need to undergo a crucial spine surgery to treat L4-L5 lytic listhesis and stenosis condition by performing TLIF surgery at Germanten Hospitals, Hyderabad. Dr. Jawad Zar Khan and Dr. Shyam Sunder Rendedla of Germanten Hospitals (Attapur, Rajendernagar, Hyderabad) advised me to undergo this surgery as early as possible, and seeing our economic hardships they have provided a quotation of 2.5 Lakhs, which includes costs for surgical profile and fitness tests, TLIF surgery, screws, rods and cage and hospital stay charges.
I appeal to our community Zakath payers, please help in this hard time to save my life and wellbeing so that I can keep supporting my orphan children who are trying their best to become productive and good community contributors. If Allah wishes, I will be able to work and walk normally after this surgery as advised by the doctors. If this surgery is not performed as early as possible, as mentioned by the doctors multiple times to me, I might not be able to get up and walk normally. So, kindly help me in this tough time. Your help means a lot to me and my children. InshaAllah, Allah will reward you all with great happiness, health, and goodness here and hereafter.
