Teacher, Mentor, Social Activist
A teacher and mentor providing guidance and mentorship to students, teachers, and educational institutions, Professor Syed Khaleel Ahmed obtained his B.E. (EEE) from the College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai in 1988. He obtained his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, USA.
His experience spans nearly 35 years in industry and academia. His industrial experience includes stints at Thermax Limited, Pune, India, and Quantum Corp., Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, USA. Earlier, he was a Senior Lecturer & Head, Center for Signal Processing and Control Systems (CSPaCS), College of Engineering, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Putrajaya Malaysia.
In the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP; https://www.ampindia.org), he is on the Board of TheIndiaMentors.com (TIM), Head, AMP Professor Connect and Member, National Projects Team. He currently oversees eight AMP projects. Recently he was inducted into the Board of IndiaZakat.com (IZC) to liaise with the Advisory panels, and lead promotion and marketing activities.
