Extend support to the Mysore Masajid Association to start a covid care unit for the Economically Weaker Section

Last year, to safeguard the economically weaker section of the community, Covid centres were opened with an intention to test, isolate & counsel the patients who can not afford to go to the hospitals but later they were converted into treatment centres. Alhamdulillah,1486 patients who were positive got cured, not a single death. All this was possible due to the cooperation of a few masajid of Mysore city. Masajid were motivated to take up these noble tasks by the MasjidOne Movement campaign last year.

Later, after the closure of the above covid centres, it was felt that a hospital for the economically weaker section of the community should be established where they can get quality treatment at a very low cost. Many doctors came forward for volunteering these services & with the support of these doctors, a few masajid joined together & started a hospital by the name "MMA Hospital" (MMA=Mysore Masajid Association).
It's based on "No profit, no loss".

Now, due to the Covid-2 wave & scary situation everywhere, we have decided to start a Covid care Unit in the hospital with an intention to treat these EWS patients at a very low cost.
As Oxygen supply is not guaranteed, the doctor's team have decided to utilise Oxygen Concentrators as an alternative to take care of not so serious patients & also planning to add ICU at the earliest for serious patients.
Hence, Urgent need for funds to commence the services with all facilities so that our EWS can benefit & get treated at a very low cost.
