Assalam Alaikum,

Dear Brothers’ & Sisters’,

My name is Yusuf Ibrahim. I live in Pune. I used to have a shop at Fashion Street in Pune. The shop was on rent but alhamdulillah, we were able to meet all responsibilities through the income from the shop.

In March 2021, there was a fire in the area, & over 500 shops were destroyed along causing a lot of loss to all of us. (Link: https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/pune/fire-at-pune-fashion-street-600-stalls-destroyed-major-damage-to-property-7248539/) My shop was one among many that were burnt on that day. It caused a lot of loss to me, as all the stock also got burnt.

Now I work in a shop to take of my family. But I believe with some support I can get back into business again. & for this, I ask all to help me raise Rs 40,000 to set up a business.

There are 11 members in my family including my mother, siblings, wife & children. The current income from the job is not sufficient. Inshallah, I hope, that once I am able to get back into the business, the financial pressure should ease up. My mother is suffering from diabetes & has a problem in knees.

I hope that all those reading this would help with some contribution & allow me again to become a zakat giver of the future & contribute towards the betterment of society & community at large.

Jazakallah Khairun
