I am Mariya Bano. I am from Jamalpur, Azamgarh, UP my father (Mohammad Hamid) is a small farmer. I have four brothers & two sisters. I am fourth among my siblings.I am studying in class 11th at St Xavier public school Rampur, Azamgarh. I had aimed to become a doctor. When I came to know that my family has insufficient money to make me a doctor, I changed my aim. Now I want to be a teacher.
I also have to fight with my own family to make them ready to let me pursue higher studies. Since, I belong to a rural family, in villages, girls are forced to leave their education & they are married early. After me.
My father worked in a flour mill that was owned by my gr&pa. But eight years back, he had to leave the mill once it went to my uncle's possession after the property divide. My father was jobless for years. He had to sell l&s in order to run our family. Recently, he has started to work as a staff in a private school where he works from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Here, he makes a few thous& only. Right now, I am giving my annual examination for class 11th.

After my exam, I will need to pay 15,000/- in order to be enrolled in class 12.
