Urgent Appeal for Surgery – Help Me Save My Leg from Permanent Damage

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

A year ago, I suffered a severe fracture in my right leg and underwent surgery, during which a steel implant was placed to support the healing process. I followed all medical advice, took the necessary rest, and attended regular check-ups as instructed. However, despite my efforts, the doctor has now informed me that my bones have not healed properly, and I require an urgent second surgery to prevent further complications.

Concerned about this, I consulted another doctor for a second opinion, and he too confirmed that the bones have not fused correctly. He also indicated that this might be due to negligence in the initial surgery. As a result, I have been experiencing excruciating pain, which has only worsened over time. If the surgery is delayed any further, it could lead to severe misalignment in my leg, causing permanent disability.

The doctor has advised me to undergo surgery at the earliest, and we have scheduled the procedure for April 11, 2025. However, the cost of the surgery is ₹1,50,000, which is far beyond my family’s financial capacity. We are struggling to arrange the funds, and without this critical procedure, my condition may deteriorate, affecting my ability to walk and work in the future.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever relieves a believer’s distress in this world, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Resurrection."
(Sahih Muslim 2699)
