Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear donors

My name is Maheen, and I never imagined that at just 22 years old, I would be writing this message – a plea, a cry from a broken heart, hoping for mercy and help from my Muslim brothers and sisters.

Just two years ago, my life was full of dreams. I got married to a loving husband, and we started our simple yet peaceful life. My husband works in a small company and earns ₹15,000 a month. It wasn't much, but we were content. Then suddenly, everything changed.

I was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called Aplastic Anemia – a serious and rare blood disorder where my bone marrow has stopped producing enough red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. For the past 8 months, hospitals have become my second home. I have lived through weakness, fatigue, fear of infections, and the constant risk of bleeding. I have endured pain, but the emotional pain of seeing my parents and husband struggle every day is far worse.

My father works in a small puncture shop. On good days, he earns ₹400. On many days, not even ₹100. Yet, he never let me feel the weight of poverty while raising me. Today, he skips meals to buy my medicines. My mother – she is not just my caregiver but has now become my bone marrow donor, my last hope for survival. The doctors have told us that a bone marrow transplant is the only option left.

The cost of the treatment, medications, and transplant is ₹20 lakhs. We have already spent everything we had. We sold what little gold we owned, borrowed from relatives, and exhausted every saving. Now, we are left with nothing except dua and hope from people like you.

My family is appealing to raise ₹5 lakhs urgently so that we can begin the transplant process. My life depends on this. I am someone’s daughter, someone’s wife – and your sister in Islam.

Rasulullah ﷺ said: Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.

I believe in the mercy of Allah and the kindness of this Ummah. Please help me. Help my parents see their daughter recover. Help a young couple dream again. Help me live.
