My name is Umme Hilal, a 2nd-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) student at Integral University, Lucknow. I come from a humble family where education and deen are both valued deeply. My father is a Hafiz-e-Qur’an, who has dedicated his life to teaching the Qur’an to children and elders in our community. He has always been a source of guidance and support, not only for our family but for many others through his teaching of the Holy Qur’an.

However, for the past two years, my father has been seriously ill and unable to continue his work. His illness has not only taken a toll on his health but also brought immense financial hardship to our family. With ongoing medical treatment and the cost of essential medicines, we are struggling even to meet our basic needs — food, house rent, and most importantly, our education.

Despite these challenges, I remain committed to my studies. I have chosen the path of education because I believe in its power to change lives — just like my father changed so many lives through the Qur’an. I want to become a dedicated and compassionate teacher, someone who can shape the future generation and give back to society.

For the academic year 2025–2026, my college fees are ₹50,000. Right now, it is beyond our means to pay this amount. That is why I am reaching out, with deep humility, to the generous hearts of the Muslim ummah and the kind donors of IndiaZakat.
