My name is Sahil Pathan. By the mercy of Allah ﷻ, I was the gold medalist in Physics during my bachelor's and secured admission into the Master’s in Applied Statistics at Symbiosis Statistical Institute, Pune for the 2025–2027 batch through the first merit list. This was a dream come true, and a sign that Allah has blessed me with academic capability. But now, I am facing a test of life.

My father works hard as a daily wage mechanic, earning just ₹300–400 a day. My mother is a homemaker who stitches clothes for neighbours to add to our income. My elder brother gave up his own education to support mine. My younger sister has just started 8th grade, but her schooling is now at risk due to our growing financial struggle.

We somehow managed to gather ₹1.46 lakhs for my first semester. But with rising household expenses, medical bills for elderly family members, and my sister's school fees, it is becoming impossible to arrange the ₹1.26 lakhs needed for my second semester due by 1st September 2025.

If I don’t get help soon, I may be forced to drop out just like my brother. His sacrifice will go in vain, and my sister may also lose her chance at education. Worst of all, my dream of pursuing a PhD and helping others through data science may end before it begins.

But with your support, I believe things can change. I can complete my degree, InshaAllah. My brother will find hope again, and my sister can continue her studies. I will be able to fight poverty with knowledge and use my education to uplift others in need, just as you would have helped me now.
