My name is Fatima Mohammed Mateen Sheikh, a second-year BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) student for the academic year 2025–2026. I come from a humble and hardworking Muslim family of six—my loving parents and we four sisters.
My father earns a modest income selling maxi dresses and nightwear from village to village on a small cart. My mother supports us by doing tailoring work at home. Life has never been easy, but it has always been filled with hope, sabr, and duas.
Despite limited means, my parents made education a priority. My three elder sisters completed their degrees while working as teachers, paying for their own studies through incredible sacrifice. I am the youngest—and it is my lifelong dream to become a doctor and serve the community.
Most students today rely on coaching institutes to prepare for NEET. But due to financial constraints, I studied entirely on my own—without tuition or coaching. Alhamdulillah, with the help of Allah (SWT), I cleared NEET and got admission through government quota in Jai Jalaram College near Godhra.
We managed to pay the fees for the first and second semesters through loans, and with your kind support via India Zakat, I was able to pay my third semester fee. Now I am in my second year, and my annual fees of ₹90,000 are due.
Please help me continue this journey.
