My name is Habibunisha, and I live in Chennai with my little daughter in a rented house. She is studying in the 3rd Standard at a Government School. I am a single mother, striving every day to provide a better future for her.

After separating from my husband through Khula, due to his bad habits, I have been managing everything alone. With both my parents no longer alive, I have no family support. I currently work as a domestic helper, but the income I earn is extremely low — not enough even to pay rent and daily expenses. Many times, I am forced to take loans just to manage basic needs.

Despite these challenges, I want to change my life with my own hard work and halal earnings. I have a clear plan: I want to start a small, home-based clothing business. My goal is to sell clothes directly from home to local customers. This will allow me to stay close to my daughter, earn a respectable income, and become financially independent.

I have the motivation, the skills, and the determination — but I lack the funds to start. I humbly appeal to my Muslim brothers and sisters to support me with Zakat or Sadaqah so I can purchase the initial stock and begin this humble venture from my home.
