My name is Shameel, and I work as a taxi driver. Life was simple and peaceful until a few months ago when my beloved wife, Shabana Banu, was diagnosed with carcinoma (cancer) of the left breast. The news shattered our world. She has already undergone a mastectomy (breast removal surgery), and now she urgently needs further treatment and medical care to fight this deadly disease.

As a daily wage earner, I am struggling to manage her hospital bills and the cost of medicines. Doctors have estimated that her continued treatment will cost around ₹1,50,000, an amount far beyond my reach. Each day, her condition reminds us how fragile life can be, yet we continue to hold on to faith and hope in Allah’s mercy.

I am humbly appealing to my brothers and sisters in Islam to come forward and help me in this time of distress. Your Zakat, Sadaqah, or any generous contribution, no matter how small - can ease our burden and help save my wife’s life.
