My name is Ahmed Shah, and by the grace of Allah, I have been selected for IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to pursue my 1st year B.S / B.Sc in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. This opportunity is a dream come true, one that I have worked for with years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering hope.

I completed my Matriculation (Class 10) from Jamia Millia Islamia Central University in 2022. After that, I cracked the entrance examination and enrolled in a Diploma in Civil Engineering at Jamia, which I successfully completed in 2025. With Allah’s mercy and my consistent hard work, I then appeared for higher engineering entrance exams and was blessed with selection into one of India’s most prestigious institutions, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

However, my biggest challenge is financial hardship.

I belong to a very modest family. We live in a rented house in Bawana village, Delhi. My family consists of my parents, my younger sister, and myself. My father works as a daily-wage labourer, and his income is irregular and barely sufficient to manage rent, food, and basic household expenses. Paying IIT fees is beyond his capacity.

To support my family, I take home tuitions alongside my studies, but my earnings are limited and not enough to cover the high cost of IIT education. Despite all the difficulties, I have never given up on my studies because I believe education is the only way to secure a better future for my family, In sha Allah.

Today, I humbly turn to my Muslim brothers and sisters for support. Your help can transform not just my life, but the future of my entire family. Supporting a student’s education is Sadaqah Jariyah, a charity whose rewards continue in this world and the Hereafter.
