My name is Akthari Khatu, a single mother living in a rented house. My husband left me eight years ago, and since then I have been raising my only son on my own, without any family support. Despite the hardships, I have always believed in self-reliance and dignity through honest work.

I am a B.A. graduate and work as a primary school teacher. In addition, I conduct home tuition for school students to supplement my income. With this limited earning, I manage all household responsibilities, including a monthly house rent of Rs. 6,000, daily living expenses, and my son’s needs. Although I earn modestly, these obligations leave me with no savings.

My son, H. Mohamed Armaan Shrief, is currently studying in 12th grade at St. Mary’s Matriculation School. He is a sincere and hardworking student with aspirations to continue his education and build a responsible future. Unfortunately, due to my financial constraints, I am unable to pay his school fees.

The total educational fee for the academic year 2025–2026 is Rs. 58,100, and I have not been able to pay any amount so far. This has placed my son’s education at serious risk.

With utmost humility, I appeal to the kind-hearted members of the Muslim community to extend their support and help me secure my son’s education. Your contribution, whether small or large, will ease our burden and protect a child’s future. Supporting education is a form of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), and your help will be a source of immense relief for us.
