My name is Sultana Begum Barbhuiya, and I have been fighting cancer since 2022. What started as a health issue soon turned into the biggest test of my life. I was diagnosed with Carcinoma of the Colon, and despite undergoing two lines of chemotherapy, my condition has progressed.

Doctors have now advised me to continue treatment with S1 Trio tablets and Bevacizumab immunotherapy, which I have already been taking for the past one year. This treatment is essential for my survival, and stopping it could put my life at serious risk.

The cost of treatment is very high.

• S1 tablets cost ₹25,000 per cycle

• Bevacizumab injections cost ₹30,000 per cycle

• The total estimated cost for 6 months is around ₹5,00,000, which includes chemotherapy, medicines, investigations, supportive care, and hospitalisation.

Adding to my hardship, my husband is physically handicapped and unable to work. He cannot earn or support our family financially. We have no stable source of income, and all our savings have already been exhausted in my treatment so far.

Today, we are in a very difficult situation, struggling to manage even basic needs, let alone such expensive medical care. With no other option left, I am humbly reaching out to the kind-hearted Muslim community through IndiaZakat, seeking Zakat and Sadaqah support to continue my life-saving treatment.
