Sadly, unpaid school fees have become a serious problem. Maaz has pending fees of ₹21,630 from the past three years. His younger brother Abdul Baasit has pending fees of ₹16,990, covering two academic years ₹8,340 for Class 5 and ₹8,650 for Class 6. Because of this, the children live in constant fear of being removed from school.
