My name is Naseema Shaikh, a mother of two young children. I come from a very poor family and live in a small shed house. To support my family, I work as a housemaid, while my husband works as a tempo driver. Despite working hard every day, our income is very limited, and rising household expenses make it extremely difficult for us to survive.

A few years ago, I suffered a fracture in my hand, and a rod implant was inserted during surgery. Due to financial hardship, I could not get proper follow-up treatment. Now, the condition has become critical. My hand has started swelling badly, I am unable to move it, and infection with pus has developed around the rod.

After medical examination, the doctor has advised an urgent operation to remove the rod implant, warning that delaying the surgery could permanently damage my hand and put my life at risk. I am also suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, which is making the infection worse and increasing the danger.

The total cost of the surgery is ₹60,000, an amount that is completely beyond our means. We have no savings and no support to manage this expense.
