Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) established the AMP Zakat Fund in 2013 to empower the lives of underprivileged Muslims by promoting Education & Self-Employment. AMP realized then in its duty towards Community welfare, the potential of a properly organized Zakat Collection & Disbursement & how it can be effectively utilized to bring out the Community from the throes of misery. The principles of Collective Zakat were used for establishing the Fund so a Zakat Seeker could be transformed into a Zakat Giver. Thus, through AMP Zakat Fund, we have been working relentlessly towards supporting Higher Education, Orphans’ Education & Self-Employment for the needy for the past 12 years now

Ramzan, the Blessed Month, is upon us, Alhamdulillah! It's a month when each good deed of a Momin multiplied 70 times, SubhanAllah!

Besides Fasting, Salah, and Tilawat e Qur'an, Charity - Sadaqah & Zakat, is also mandated for the faithful as is clear from the above Hadith of Nabi SAW.

Let's utilize this month to give to those in our Community who are not as blessed as us and need our help. Allah SWT blessed us with the special tool of Zakat so we could purify our Wealth and with it help the poor and the underprivileged.

AMP Zakat Fund, started by the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in 2013, collects and utilizes Zakat, the way Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sahabas practiced it, and the way Allah SWT wants us to give i.e. in a Collective manner.
