Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear donors

My name is Heena. I am a widow and a mother of three daughters. I work as a maid, and I am the only earning member of my family.

My husband passed away due to kidney failure. He was an auto driver, and during his long illness we took loans for his treatment, hoping to save his life. Sadly, we could not clear those loans, and the interest kept increasing. After his death, our financial condition completely collapsed.

I earn ₹9,000 per month as a maid. Out of this, ₹4,000 goes towards house rent, and the remaining amount is spent on groceries and medical needs. There is nothing left to save. Despite all hardships, I am trying my best to keep my family together.

My daughter’s Nikah is scheduled for 19th April 2026. As a mother, it is my responsibility to arrange at least the basic necessities for her marriage, but I am completely unable to do so. I do not have any savings, gold, or support.

Earlier, we were living in Mumbai, but after my husband’s death, I had no option but to come to Bangalore to stay with my brother. Unfortunately, my brother is suffering from blood cancer, and he himself is struggling for treatment. He is in no position to help us.

My youngest daughter is continuing her studies only because of the kindness of IndiaZakat donors. This support has been a great relief, and I am deeply grateful.

Today, with humility and hope, I am reaching out to the Muslim community and kind-hearted donors. I request your Zakat, Sadaqah, or any permissible support to help me arrange the basic expenses of my daughter’s Nikah. Your support will protect her dignity and help fulfill a mother’s responsibility.
