Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,This appeal comes from a struggling mother who is doing everything she can to give her children a better future through education.

My name is Haseena, and I am a divorced mother of two children. Life has become extremely difficult since my divorce a year ago, as I am now the only earning member of my family. I work as a housekeeper in people’s homes, earning a very small income that barely covers our daily food and basic living expenses.

Despite our hardships, my daughter Fathima Beevi M has always been a bright, hardworking, and determined student. Alhamdulillah, she secured admission at SRM Arts and Science College and is currently pursuing B.Sc Computer Science with Data Science. She dreams of completing her education and building a stable future so she can support our family.

At the time of admission, I had to take a loan to pay her first semester fees. Later, the college requested the second semester fee of ₹46,000. With the generous support of the India Zakat Committee, we received ₹15,140 in financial assistance. May Allah reward them abundantly for their kindness and generosity.

After this support, the remaining balance for the second semester fee is ₹29,863, which we are now struggling to arrange.

The total annual fee of the course is ₹93,000, which is extremely difficult for someone in my financial condition. My son has recently completed his studies and is currently searching for a job, but until he finds employment, I must manage all the family and educational expenses alone.

As we are currently in the blessed month of Ramadan, a month of mercy, generosity, and multiplied rewards, I humbly request the kind donors of the Muslim community to support my daughter’s education. Your Zakat and Sadaqah can help us complete the required amount and ensure that her studies continue without interruption.
