I would like to share the heartfelt story of two young siblings from a humble family who lost their father two years ago. Since that day, their lives have changed completely. These children, currently studying in Grade 7 and Grade 5, are trying their best to continue their education despite the emotional and financial hardships surrounding them.

After the death of their father, the situation at home became extremely difficult. Instead of receiving support and compassion, the family was not taken care of by the in‑laws, and the mother was sent away to her mother’s home along with her three children. Today, the children live with their widowed mother and elderly grandmother, who has taken full responsibility for the family.

The grandmother, despite her age, is working tirelessly to manage food, rent, school needs, and daily expenses. With her limited income, she struggles to provide even the basics. Yet, she continues with strength and patience, taking care of both her daughter and grandchildren. However, the rising cost of education, school fees, books, and essentials is beyond what she can afford.

These children have already suffered an irreplaceable loss—they should not have to sacrifice their education too.

This is a family that is truly deserving of Zakat. They have no savings, no stable income, and no male guardian to support them. Helping orphaned children gain education is one of the most rewarding forms of charity in Islam.

Allah ﷻ says:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment.”
Sahih Muslim

Your Zakat, Sadaqah, and kind contributions can help these two young orphans stay in school, continue learning, and dream of a better future. Even a small amount can make a life‑changing difference for them.

May Allah reward you abundantly, ease your affairs, and accept your charity.

JazakAllahu Khairan Kaseera
for your generosity and kindness.
