Afsari Bee is a struggling woman who is facing very difficult circumstances in her life. With great hope and humility, she is reaching out to kind-hearted people for support so that she can build a small source of income for her family.

Afsari Bee’s husband is physically handicapped. One of his hands and one of his legs are not functioning, which makes it extremely difficult for him to work or earn a living. Because of his condition, he is unable to support the family financially.

In order to keep her household running, Afsari Bee works as a daily wage laborer, doing hard physical work whenever she can find it. However, the income from such work is very small and irregular. Some days she gets work, while on other days there is no work available at all. With such uncertainty, it becomes extremely difficult for her to manage the family’s basic needs.

Afsari Bee also has one daughter, and as a mother she worries about her daughter’s future and the responsibility of her marriage. With limited income and no steady support, these responsibilities weigh heavily on her shoulders.

To improve her family’s condition, Afsari Bee wishes to start a small kirana (grocery) shop. A small shop would allow her to earn a stable income from home and take care of her disabled husband and daughter at the same time. However, due to her poor financial situation, she does not have the resources to start the shop on her own.
