Today, we bring before you the urgent appeal of Mrs. Wahidha Ayub, a 58-year-old mother who is courageously fighting Stage III HER2-positive breast cancer, an aggressive form of cancer that requires continuous and life-saving treatment.

Mrs. Wahidha has already endured six cycles of chemotherapy, major surgery, and radiation therapy at Billroth Hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, where oncologists have advised 11 additional cycles of targeted therapy and chemotherapy to improve her chances of recovery.

The total cost of her complete treatment was estimated at ₹22 lakhs. After exhausting their savings and spending everything they had on surgeries, hospital admissions, medicines, and travel expenses, the family now urgently requires ₹10,00,000 to complete her remaining treatment.

Her family belongs to a financially struggling background with limited income and no substantial savings. Although they have received some government assistance, the costly targeted medicines required for her treatment are not available through government hospitals or schemes.

Any delay or interruption in her treatment could seriously affect her recovery and increase the risk of the cancer progressing.
