Advocate and Social Activist
Asim Khan is a noted journalist turned lawyer based in Mumbai and practicing at the Bombay High Court and its subordinate courts. Besides his experience in journalism as a correspondent and editor, Asim brings over seven years of experience in law, handling matters/cases in criminal, civil and corporate law.
Asim is passionate about community service and is well-known in the field of social services in Mumbai. He is a member and legal advisor of various social organizations, NGOs and is currently serving on the panel of several trusts, societies and companies. Also, Asim is a life member of the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court Bar.
He is an education enthusiast and holds many degrees, such as LLB, MA (Political Science) MA (Eurasian Studies) BMM (Journalism) PGDHR (Human Rights) CDPL (Persian). He has also worked as a visiting faculty for Journalism in various colleges of Mumbai University and SNDT University. Besides, Asim is a poet and writer. He has translated and edited many books in English and Urdu.
