The school dropout ratio of female students among Muslims is more than 72% due to different socio-economic factors including lack of monetary support, awareness, guidance & family issues. Here, the school dropout ratio is a matter of concern.
Considering these facts Scholars Education & Welfare Academy, Delhi (a registered society)is planning to initiate a project named ‘IQRA’ under which we pledge to select 100 needy girlstudents from the downtrodden background of our community & help them to fill the forms of graduation (distance education/Private) from Jamia Millia Islamia. The initiative would help them to continue their study even from the home & enable them to be educated as well as independent for the future.

Apart from helping those 100 female students to fill the forms of the above-mentioned respective courses, we are planning to give them coaching on those respective courses by setting up a small coaching institute with help of a few volunteers. With the help of coaching those students can smoothly attain a good score. As of now, no institute is providing coaching for the private students, so we aim to provide the notes in English/Urdu/ Hindi along with the coaching of the course, which we suppose to complete in 6 months. As well, for the long term, we will continue with our small institute & provide the coaching of the competitive exam including CTET, NET/Jrf, B.ed & entrance of top central universities like Jamia, AMU, DU, & JNU to the students belong to the lower strata of the community at very minimum fees so the small institute can sustain further.

This project will produce 100 graduates girl students. As well the small coaching institute will be set up for the long run so that more & more students from lower strata of our community can get coaching for competitive exams at minimum affordable fees.
The breakup of the cost is as below

1. Admission form cost (1000 X 100 = 1 Lakh)
2. Rent/security deposit for Coaching center (3 months X 15000 = 45000)
3. Furniture/other infrastructure (65000)
4. Teacher's salary (4 X 10000 = 40000)
