Brother Jahangir, a Muezzin at the local mosque in Patwar Bagan Lane, Kolkata has an 11-year-old daughter, Alisha who is suffering from deadly Cancer (Hereditary Atransferrinemia) disease.
She was diagnosed with the disease in 2005 at CMC, Vellore & since then Jahangir has been striving to fight for her life each day. Alhamdulillah, the child has responded to the treatment & since 2020 is no more dependent on red cell transfusions. Currently, she is supposed to receive FFP transfusions once every month. Jahangir does not have a fancy income or huge savings to continue with her treatment without any assistance & the p&emic has made the situation worse.
Young Alisha is in need of Rs.100000 for her medical expenses but Brother Jahangir can only afford to arrange up to Rs.50000.
